  1. Tried the Ravioli dish last night. Very tasty, but 30 min was not enough to bake it. I would bake 1 hour due to the frozen ravioli after 30 min it was lukewarm inside. Either defrost the ravioli or bake 1 hour.

  2. Actually, it's no meat, no fish, no animal products, i.e., no milk, butter, eggs or cheese. Think bread or rice, vegetables, oil. Every day of Lent and every Friday of the year. Cheers.

  3. I love Lentil soup! Also for kids, fish sticks are great! Having been raised Italian, my husband and I also love spaghetti with anchovies, stuffed clams, etc. We revisit Christmas Eve on Fridays in Lent! I love the break from eating meat.

  4. Thank you for your recipes. I shared your lasagna with my mom and it was good. I don’t know if someone’s already suggested this but a bread machine is amazing. You can control the ingredients so it makes for a healthier option. Thanks again for all you share on this channel.

  5. Heather, my oldest son chose to go meatless for the entire Lent! Stumped single dad trying to make my weekly Sunday dinner with my boys delicious and meatless! Found your site, made the quiche last week to rave reviews! Yes! This weekend, I'm doing the ravioli lasagna. No doubt it will be delicious too! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Many blessings to you and yours!

  6. I appreciate the meatless Friday and how to make quick meals; but I would rather make the extra effort for my kids health to cook from unprocessed ingredients as much as possible. The taste is much better and the kids learn how to prepare and cook properly. A quiche without a pastry case is a baked omelette, or Tortilla milagros.

  7. We do 40 days of soup for lent! Wednesdays and Fridays in Lent we do Meatless and the rest of the days we have one meal per day with meat. Sundays of course are exempt from that.

  8. Thank you so much for sharing these. It has been fun to prepare these meals with our kids. Cooking is not one of my strengths, but your instructions were easy to follow. Delicious!

  9. Super!! Wow, these all look delicious! Thanks for sharing, and may the LORD bless you and Mother Mary keep you and your family:-)

  10. It is tradition in my house, During Lent, We make "Surprise Mac and Cheese". Homemade (with a white sauce) Mac and cheese that gets baked. Instead of Grating the cheese, we leave it in square chunks, Thus the "Surprise", with a salad, or Steamed broccoli, maybe even an Artichoke as a side

  11. I just found your channel, and I am hooked! I love the way you present the recipes, and your comments about your faith and family. God bless you always! Looking forward to your next video. 💕

This year with all that’s going on in the world and in the Church and our own country I wanted to try to up the the sacrifice so I fast until 2 or 3 pm before having my first meal, then a small snack before 6pm filling in the rest of the day with a lot of water..lol! Meat only on Sunday’s.
Your doing great …..with 5 children it’s much more challenging. Saying a Rosary while cooking or a Novena while cleaning and offering up all the hard work being a young mother can entail would, I’m sure please our Blessed Lord. God bless you on your journey. ✝️👍🙏.

  13. My Lenten dinners are Mexican bread pudding (capirotada), cheese stuffed poblano peppers, bean tacos, cheese enchiladas, fideos (soup). Quesadillas. Loved this cheese lasagna.

  14. Now if we are following the devotions of Fatima we should refrain from me on Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays all year long. I’d like to do shrimp meals with angel hair pasta which is actually a quick and easy also.
