    I find if I bend the asparagus at the end it will naturally break off where it gets too tough to eat, and I don't waste any.😄

  4. I made this soup today. I am dissapointed that I did not get to taste the flavor of Sparragus in the soup. It tasted more of the white kidney beans than anything. So sad, I love Sparragus. Maybe they were not the best sparragus??? I followed the recipie, every step. My sparragus were not as big as in the video, theywere skinnier. Maybe I will try it without the beans next time.

  10. Thank you for the recipe! I was wondering why you use Kosher salt? Are you jewish or is there another reason? I mostly use salt with added jodium(which is the standard salt in the Netherlands), and sometime coarse salt when you need a bit more pop and really taste the salt chuncks. But i've never used kosher salt.

You are awesome Dani, you are an inspiration to everyone: Vegans, Vegetarians and those who aren't…you cater for everyone and all your recipes are easy to make, will not break the bank and most importantly they're healthy, clean and good for us. I love the alternatives you offer at times to carter for specific dietary and budget requirements making most recipes accessible to everyone. I came across a similar recipe years ago which is practically the same minus the onion and replacing the beans with cashew nuts and it requires no cooking (although it can be slightly heated if desired) so cold soup ideal on a hot summer day although it has an acquired taste so not for everyone. You take on this soup is delicious (never thought of beans) and incidentally I had it with a couple of slices of your delicious zucchini bread (which I make on a regular basis) spread with goat cheese. So Dani thank you again and please keep coming back with more delicious recipes, can't wait for the next one. You are a star, oh dear what am I saying, your are SUPERSTAR! Greetings from cold London!
