Marc!! OH! MY! GOSH!! First and foremost, I was not shocked with your addition of ketchup to your sauce. I learned that from my mother, when I was a child. I still do it, to this day. It allows me, to add some sweetness, without having to add actual sugar. Thank you for sharing the information about baking soda! I had no idea! I love how you grated the carrot as well. My hubby loves spaghetti—LOVES IT, but if he saw actual chunks of carrot, I’m afraid that he would turn his nose up to it, as he’s a pure meat sauce type of guy. With your recipe, he’ll never know! I also love how you used the grinder attachment, to grind up the meat. Thank you for sharing!!! Marc—any chance you’d share how to make homemade sausages? ☺️
