  8. I have found out that using red wine and a splash of whisky when making a marinade is like a small miracle to the meat. I use 1 day or close to that time to marinade pork or beef, usually pork because beef is much more expensive where I live. And most, not all, of the alcohol gets evaporated with the cooking process, if someone didn't know.
