  4. I made this tonight. Few changes as I was trying to use as many vegetables as possible from the fridge (add shredded cabbage and potato). My husband thought it was macaroni and cheese! That’s a huge win! Thank you guys 🙂

  6. I've made this twice now. I had never used celery root before, and WOW the flavor it imparts is amazing! This is an amazingly delicious recipe! My new cold weather comfort food. I followed commenters advise and added fresh nutmeg to the béchamel – highly recommend!

  7. I'm so making this at the weekend – I'm thinking it would be amazing with courgetti instead of pasta, and sprinkled with nutritional yeast and maybe pine nuts or flaked almonds. Aaaand now I'm hungry ….
