  1. On one hand, Gordon may be a bit demading, harsh, intimidating, and quik tempered, wich are negative stereo types of chefs.
    On the other hand, he truly loves his craft as a cook, wich makes him so good at his job.

  2. If you have a passion for something. If you have a dream, set a goal, and be the best you can be at your passion. If you have a dream with no goals it's just a dream. Give it everything you have with some spice, and cross the finish line. Only to realize your journey has just begun. Put a bit of spice, and seasoning to your passion, and life…discover how delicious it is.

  3. The only thing I don't like about Gordon's recipes is he's a top tier chef, so of course he's always stocked with top notch ingredients. I feel like some of the ingredients he uses your average supermarket and meat market shopper might not have access to or they would be several steps down in quality. Like fresh saffron, I don't think you can get that where I live, you can get the jarred saffron they sell in every supermarket spices isle though.

  5. I make my ham almost the same except I don’t boil it. I make my glaze the same except I never put wine in it before so I’m gonna try that and after I put the cloves in the ham I put pineapple and Mendocino cherries with toothpicks on the ham I pour the glaze over and I add plain seltzer n ginger or if I can’t find that I use a lil ginger ale n I pour a lil cherry juice n pineapple juice in the pan and I cover with foil so the toothpicks come in handy and I slow cook it in the oven for a while then I put the heat up and remove the tin foil. My grandma who learned from her mother is how she made it before they came over on the boat.
