  1. To anyone reading, the first recipe is a take on a Korean recipe called 쌈 (Ssam) – which is a meat & rice wrap, using a particular leaf called 깻잎 (perilla leaves), tastes somewhere in between lettuce and cabbage. Can use additional veggies if desired. Usually they use 불고기 – Korean BBQ/grilled beef, cut into thin slices (using scissors!) & seasoned with sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, maybe chilli flakes or powder, sometimes ginger & spring onion. They usually don't season the meat directly (apart from maybe oil & garlic) and will instead create a dipping sauce. A mildly spicy paste may also be used for this, called Ssamjang – 쌈장. This paste is full of flavour.
