Successfully completed 30 days without sugar/sweets and began a diet. Lost 12-13 pounds in that month. Didn’t eat any sweets and only had granola as a snack on the side. Had a slice of ice cream cake to celebrate the month and now transitioning to having a sugary snack once a week. Once I had my cake I felt some cravings come back but I’m used to kicking them away now.
Ummmm… I’m on day 12 and all i can think about is root beer…. chocolate … and ice cream ….so FYI it takes more than 10 days to kick sugar…so far it’s been a brutal struggle
I can handle kicking sugar and processed flour for most of what I eat, but kicking gluten and dairy is asking too much. I can't afford to eat that way, and the inconvenience in my meals would just crash in time anyway.
I’m on a weight loss journey and I was aiming for 40 pounds and atm I lost 20 pounds and I was doing so well and had such good self control but all of a sudden I stopped eating healthy and working out for over a month due to loss of motivation and all of a sudden I can’t stop eating sugar and can’t control myself :/
On day 3 of dieting and doing exercise. While it means to quit sugar already I am having trouble sleeping and while it is discomforting I knew this was coming. It may cause me to not want to exercise in the morning but I have to push through it. 7 days are left and I feel like it will benefit me.
My gyn informed me I gained weight durning covid and told its 90 percent what I eat . So I am cleaning up my diet . Pepsi I committed to giving up, little candy bars , o Charley’s free pie Wednesday.

If you're the type that eats to try to feel happier then its impossible to kick.

what is the benefit of also cutting dairy and gluten for 10 days?
This is so overwhelming. A list of what shouldn't be consumed would be easier.
