  1. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I know white rice is a HUGE NO for any diabetic dog!
This video needs to be changed by taking the diabetic word out or better yet take the video down.
Can seriously cause huge harm to your diabetic pet. Please do your research on what foods to avoid with your diabetic dog.

My vet said think of Atkins when choosing foods for your dog. She told me of this site; balanceIT. Tells you the ratio and help with supplements that are missing in homemade foods.

  2. five weeks ago I watched this video. My 13 year old mixed-breed was going 14/15 times a day, along with maybe 3 bowls of water. I didn't take her for the testing. My wife liked the 'convenience' of the bagged/kibbles. I changed the diet to chicken, carrots, squash, lean burger, pasta shells, broccoli. Formed golf ball sized lumps for ease. I kept a daily OUT chart for the 4 plus weeks. Yesterday the dog made 4 trips. FOUR! You ask the cost? I'm convinced we avoided many vet trips, insulin, etc. Just eyeballing, I think she dropped maybe five pounds.

  3. This vid is not exactly right but it is nowhere near as bad as dog food in a tin or that dry shit that they're telling us to feed our dogs every day and every day thousands of dogs are getting diagnosed with diabetic symptoms why oh why oh why,,,

  4. Rice very high in carbs. Same as eating sugar. Corn oil is a GMO modified high carb ingredient. Breaks down to sugar. Salt should be Himalayan or another healthy mineral salt. Not regular iodized salt! Does not explain why adding the nutritional supplement to the meal. I would never feed my dog this. The dog needs more healthy fat and protein, and more low car vegetables. Brocolli, cabbage, etc…The point is to reduce sugars in the blood, so refraining from feeding simple carbohydrates that immediately break down to sugar seems a little crazy.

  5. Rice and grain? I'm a doctor, not a vet, but my diabetic dog was dying and was saved by the raw diet, and no grain no way, don't feed your dogs this if they are diabetic. You're not a doctor

  6. this girl has a few extremely inappropriate recipes posted. HUMAN'S SHOULDN'T EVEN EAT HIGH CARB WHITE RICE!! never mind a diabetic dog!!!

  7. Oh no! Come on now…..
High-glycemic foods include white rice, white or wheat bread, and glucose. … Highly digestible diets designed for dogs with sensitive stomachs can contribute to higher blood glucose levels after eating, which is not the best thing for a diabetic dog.

  8. OMG!!! CARBS ARE WHAT CAUSES DIABETES! I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL VETS! AND ALL SAID DOG FOOD SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY CARBS BECAUSE DOGS ARE CARNIVORES! PEOPLE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! THIS IS NOT A DIET FOR DIABETES DOGS! RICE, CORN AND POTATOES! ARE CARBS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Appreciate Video clip! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about – Parlandealey Pets Yummy Process (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering healthy recipes for dog food without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.
