  2. The leftover sushi rice is what stops me from making this. That never happens in my household. We almost never eat rice, I don’t know how to make it properly and even if I would I would have to cook an extra portion to have some leftover

  3. I absolutely loved your fried rice recipe since in am a pure vegetarian I find it hard to get good continental recipes everything will have seafoods or egg or nonveg sauces etc etc

  5. I did climb mt fuji. Unfortunately, i couldnt have done it on a worse day. Fog so thick i could barely see my hands in front of my face. All i got to see of fuji was a small circle of dirt beneath my feet 🙁 was only allowed to go to station 7 then forced to turn back 🙁 bad luck day 🙁 i do ADORE japanese food!!! Thank you for all your easy recipes and for keeping the videos short and to the point 🙂 love your style!

  6. Tried this recipe twice now. It's going to become a staple because it is so eye vitamin friendly. Haven't been able to find kombu yet so have done without. 1st try: can't find nappa cabbage so used baby bok choy and substituted peas for edame. 2nd attempt: found nappa cabbage. Added toasted sesame oil both times. I ate this down to the last grain of rice. Next attempt I will use sprouted short grain brown rice. The possibilities are just endless. Thank you for this receipe.

  7. I cook this last night, and it's extremely delicious, never have i thought of putting kombu in my fried rice but you just give me a new knowledge, those umami flavour combined with the saltines of Soy sauce and sweetness of sweet corn is absolutely fabulous especially when i give a little bit of toasted sesame oil
