  5. Maangchi! I tried to follow your recipe and others but my dough doesn't easily stick to the hotdog. It keeps falling off. Once I get to the potatoes it became a sticky doughy mess 🙁 The potatoes became undercooked too because they mixed into the dough. Is it because I used skinny wooden skewers instead of chopsticks? Or is there something wrong with my dough?

  9. Maangchi💓…how many hours will the yeast batter last fluffy to use ? I want to make 1 large batch of the dough for the whole day. Like a small business from home😊

  10. Dough:
    1 cup warm water
    2tbsp sugar
    Mix
    2 teaspoons/1 packet active dry yeast
    Let melt into water
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    Flour 1 cup 3/4 cup
    Mix and let sit for 1 hour

    Potato topping:
    Cut up potatoes
    Wash off starch
    Put into boiling water for 2mins
    Strain and rinse in cold water
    Dry off and add flour

    Assemble:
    Cut mozzarella cheese
    Put hot dog and mozzarella on skewer
    Wrap mozzarella and hot dog with dough
    Press on potatoes and panko
    Fry
    Optional:
    Add ketchup and mustard
    Put hot cheeto dust on top(my extra touch)

  11. its amazing! instead of frying it, i put it on a preheated 400F (~200C) oven for approximately 10 minutes, it turned out delicious!
