  1. LOVE this! Thank you Sarra. This was one of the first pages I filled out. I love meal planning, it saves a TON of time and money, but it takes me FOREVER to cook my meals. So I used those pages to "plot" out what I'd eat, paying extra attention to what I can buy frozen or in boxes/cans (soups). So I planned those out and week one was a HUGE time saver. Will DEF keep this idea in mind year round. Thanks Sarra 🙂

  2. Thank you Sarra! Love this organization. It’ll take away so much of the stress that comes with Nanowrimo. I’m still not totally prepped yet but getting there. 🙂

  3. we do a lot of meal planning in general – and we love curries (lentil, sweet potato) and chili as freezer meals. You cook once and have 3 dinners for the whole family easily. Love this video!

  4. The breakfast rounds sound yummy – I found a recipe for them that uses carrots, which I always seem to have too many of in my weekly organic veg box, so yay! Off to plan my meals now…

  5. Good morning, Sarra. I love the meal plan addition to the notebook this year! I looked up the oatmeal rounds and am printing the recipe for baking tomorrow. I've been refrencing your Preptober book and including links to all of my Preptober videos so folks can come check out your channel for more inspiration and guidance. Here's to a GREAT Nano! Hugs & Blessings!

  6. Thank you. I'm attempting NaNo for the first time this year – although I don't expect to reach 50k but if I can get my writing mojo back it'll be classed as a success. Thanks for the advice on food prep. My breakfast is very similar to yours – frozen cherries defrosted in the microwave and 0% Greek yogurt. I used to add 30g of oats but tend to skip that these days. I think I'll prepare a pot of chilli as it is a favourite in my house. I use cauliflower rice but hubby has microwave rice, I'll make a larger portion so we can have some the next day on jacket potatoes! One of my 'lazy' meals that has served me well over the years is buying a ready cooked chicken, nice fresh bread and tomatoes and making chicken sandwiches. Great cos people can help themselves! I will also buy a ready prepped spatchcock chicken to serve with baby potatoes and steamed veg, that should be easy enough. Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. Hey Sarra! I’ve been watching through your “How to Plot your Novel” series (so amazing!) and I noticed you never mention popular favourite “Save The Cat.” What are your thoughts on that book?

  8. Thank you for everything you put together to help us reach our goals. I found you last year and used your videos to help me prep for my first NaNoWriMo. I am excited to do this again!

  10. I really loved this video on meal prep. I think it's an awesome idea to have your meal ideas ready for when your writing and especially when doing NaNo. Also you could use this Meal Prep all year. Which is awesome. I usually just try to think of supper like the night before or last minute.Thank you Sarra for sharing ❤ 😊 👍

  11. This is really helpful! Sarra, I recommend keeping the Diaries videos as simple as possible. I'd be super happy with a 5-minute uncut chat every day. They don't have to be 20-minute fancy edited videos!

  12. My recipe for low carb Tiramisu: I use skyr (Islandic thick yogurt) with liquid sweetener & vanilla extract for the layers between the ladyfingers which I only dip in coffee a bit at the bottom. I top it with low carb chocolate powder.
