  1. Cut the beef in cubes, freeze it over night, put the frozen cubes of different meats in a food processor, run it for a few seconds and the meat will be ground and mixed. Cleanup is a lot easier too.

  2. I love onions. I'll take a Vidalia onion slice ~3/4 inch, salt, pepper and mayo sandwich. White or yellow onions I like to saute for a few minutes to take out a little of the hot and make that sandwich.

    I like to saute onions, mushrooms and roasted red peppers until nice and soft and then a hamburger patty on top with cheese. No bun. The contrast is amazing.

    If you really like onions, take an onion leaving the wrapper on. Core almost down to the root. Fill the core with a beef bouillon cube, hot water and cap with butter. Put it in the microwave, make sure it can stand up or nest it so it doesn't roll over, for about 3-4 minutes, depending on the size of the onion. The cube melts and impregnates all the layers of the onion. Peel and eat. What a feast.
