Hey Stacy and Tim I just wanted to tell you some amazing news I am getting married to the love of my life we are getting married in January of next year
Lol, that’s so funny saying you’re turning into your mother. My mother never measured…unless it was specific for baking…and she taught me how to make things with directions like ‘some of this, some of this, more of this, then it should look/taste like this, then you cook it until it’s done.’ My mom was a fantastic cook, who left this world much too young, miss her every day. People will ask me for some of her recipes that I bring to potlucks or holiday dinners…and I always have to say, ‘well, there really isn’t a recipe, but you can come over next time I make it and I’ll show you how’ and I show them the same way my mom showed me, lol. I’ve had at least 5 people take me up on the offer and come over and learn how to cook some of her specialities. So glad I found your channel, I’m really enjoying it! Re: Produce: When we lived in California, fresh produce, the best you’ve ever had, was available year round. As someone who grew up in the Midwest and lived in the South for 13 years, this was amazing (it also, unlike a lot of things in CA, was pretty inexpensive, especially since there were so many farmer markets.) Back in the Midwest now, and I will rely on frozen vegetables more during the winter. I’m not a fan of fruit, but my husband will eat canned (he’ll eat anything, lol.) We had a small garden this year as an experiment, and plan to make a big one next year (we’re in a full 4 season climate.) My mom had one and used to can any extra…I don’t remember the specifics of canning, but I plan to learn. Especially since being in CA, and the produce being right out of the field, I want that here as much as I can, and food prices just keep rising, so every little bit helps.
Hi Stacy from a very cold North East coast of England ! All the food, as always, looks amazing and very appealing. Your salads always look very tempting 😁 Lovely to see the photos of you and the ladies out for lunch, they look a great crowd ! Stay safe. x
Those burrito things you made are similar to chimichangas ! Maybe just air fried instead of deep fried. They looked super good 🙂 the chicken Tim cooked looked really juicy and well seasoned.
Your dinners all looked really good! Your ladies luncheon looked good too! Your Halloween festival looked like a great time! It looked like there was a little bit of everything. Fun for everyone! Thanks Stacy for sharing that! Have a great wknd!😀💜
You have me so inspired this week! I made a salad with chicken, Apple, cheese and walnuts and made your homemade vinaigrette for supper on Tuesday, and tonight I’m making the same salad, less the chicken and am pairing it with roasted veggies and your mamas yogurt chicken!
Hi my friend, it’s Jenny from UT.. thanks for another great video. I love seeing the things you and Tim do! I want you to know that I think you are just an awesome person! I wish we lived near each other and we could go out for some Chinese! Hope all is well in MS! Have a great week! 💜 Jenny
Yes, I'm one of the wok coveters. HOWEVER I have a "new" never-used vintage electric one I located on ebay, which is exactly the same as the one I wore out decades ago. If you ever see one of those beautiful Target woks, PLEASE alert us! Your meals are inspiring as usual. Like another commenter, the salads are really impressive. I do fresh veggies all winter because I order from Misfits Market and Imperfect Foods. The roasted sprouts and sweets are right up my alley. Hubby loves a shingled sweet potato/apple/onion bake I invented. I actually prefer winter foods. You strike me as a true Proverbs 31 woman. Thanks for the inspiration!
Enjoyed the video. In the winter I eat a combination of fresh winter veggies/squash and frozen vegetables. I tend to find canned vegetables too salty and mushy
Hi guys! Hope y’all had a fun Halloween weekend! We took a nice, low-key trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico which we always enjoy. Your food looks great, as always. I have a similar rice cooker, and I’ve never once tried that steamer basket. I should totally try that…. do you ever use it to steam veggies? I’m intrigued by the yogurt chicken, sounds yummy! Your church puts on quite an event, looks like a blast! 🎃
Delicious looking meals as always Stacy! Your chicken burritos looked yummy! The Chinese meal you made is very similar to my chicken chow mein which I put instant Asian noodles in. I've never liked Brussel sprouts and have never cooked them since my Dad used to give them to us overcooked! Lol I'm making a zucchini and bacon quiche for dinner tonight! Happy day to you both from Sally, Les and the fur crew! 😄❤
Yum! I am making pulled pork next weekend, I always make coleslaw with it I will for sure be putting some pickles and pickle juice in it! Can't wait to try it! My grandchildren love Chinese food , this week we made chicken fried rice and egg rolls for our dinner date. It is finally getting chilly here so I think tomorrow will be homemade chicken noodle soup day. I also like to make a good harvesty (made up word LOL) salad with dried cranberries and pecans or walnuts, I think I will also try your honey mustard dressing. Thanks for some wonderful ideas. Have a lovely week!
Hi Stacy, your meals look great. I'm in the same rut as you regarding fresh produce. I find I buy more lettuce and tomatoes in the summer and as the weather gets colder, I buy more frozen veggies. When I buy fresh produce, I make sure I make a meal plan so I won't forget I bought fresh produce so it won't get spoiled. Have a great rest of your weeki.

Wow Stacy I am the kind of person that goes for veggies first and those look good! 😋
So tasty!!! I love your videos!!! I would say the chicken roll ups at 6:00min are burritos. 😀
